General:
By using Ace and a Face site you agree legally to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Every care has been taken to make sure that all descriptions of items and services included in the Ace and a Face site are accurate to the best of our knowledge. As information is regularly updated and any errors will be corrected as soon as we are aware of them, Ace and a Face is unable to accept liability for any incorrect information. This does not affect your statutory rights.
The information on this site may not be reproduced by any means without prior agreement with Ace and a Face.
We can not guarantee that the colour you see on screen is exactly same on the finished item as individual monitor settings can vary.
All bespoke items are made to order. You as the client give the full responsibility for the artist to create the agreed artwork based on your size and style specifications to the best of her ability.
Care:
A billiard table brush or a variable powered vacuum, with a very light setting and brush attachment will get rid of any dust on the play surface.
Care should be given when using hot cups near the wooden surfaces. Although the wood is treated and varnished, heated elements may damage the finish.
If a spillage occurs on the playing surface, it should be cleared immediately. The suited speed cloth is Teflon coated and the playing surface foam is closed cell, so no liquid should be absorbed into the wood, but should still be cleaned immediately.
Delivery:
Due to weight of our tables, we only deliver items within mainland UK. Delivery is available Monday to Friday, excluding week-ends and Bank Holidays. Tables are shipped using a reputable Courier.
Dates stated for delivery are only approximate and Ace and a Face shall not be liable for any delays in delivery howsoever caused.
Prices for delivery are subject to change without any prior notice by Ace and a Face. We reserve the right to contact the customer prior to dispatch of goods to inform of a change in the cost of delivery.
It is advisable to inspect goods prior to signing for the delivery. Any damage to the packaging or items should be immediately noted on the delivery slip or refuse delivery.
Packaging:
We endeavour to package the table as securely as possible. We care about the environment and therefore we use recycled materials as much as possible. Therefore your package might be re-used from materials sent to us.
Returns:
According to the distance selling Regulations, if you have received goods and have simply changed your mind, you may return goods subject to the following conditions:
- You inform us within three working days of receipt of the product(s)
- You pay the return delivery charges
- Goods are returned in a re-saleable condition and in their original packaging
- Goods are not bespoke items (eg. A custom printed cloth or custom table dimensions.
Due to the nature of our products, being fully customised, a returned item is highly unlikely to be resold, so the deposit in non-refundable to cover any unforeseen circumstances.
You will receive a refund of all monies paid (excluding postage & packaging plus deposit charges) for the returned goods within 30 days from when the goods have been received by Ace and a Face. We recommend that you use an established courier when returning goods.
Damages:
Full refunds will be made by Ace and a Face for items lost or damaged in transit.
It is the customers' responsibility to notify the courier company of any damages occurred in transit and the delivery note should specify this. Failure to do so may result in non-refundable item. Notify us within 1 day of the item arriving in damaged condition to be eligible for a full refund or exchange. Please keep all packaging as found to enable us to seek compensation from the courier and validate your claim. Return the package to us and we will contact you for refunds and exchanges where your claim is justified.
Payment:
Payment can be made either by Cheque, Bank Transfer (online or otherwise) or via Paypal. Paypal is one of the most secure payment services available. They use the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) procedures in transmitting your information and your card details reside with Paypal, which will never be given to Ace and a Face. Once the transaction is complete you will receive a confirmation from Paypal and from Ace and a Face confirming the order and completion dates.
* Any payments received via Paypal are susceptible to a 3.5% increase. This is to cover the fees incurred by using the Paypal service.
Privacy policy:
We understand your information is private. All of the information received from you will never be passed on to another company (excluding delivery purposes) and will only be used by Ace and a Face. Occasionally we may email you with promotional information. Should you wish to stop receiving promotional information, please inform us of this and your details will be removed from the mailing list. You also have the right to access the personal data that is held about you. To obtain a copy of your personal information held about you, please contact us.
